     Для передачи этого времени используется специальная форма глаголов:

• для правильных глаголов она формируется посредством прибавления окончания -ed;
• формы неправильных глаголов нужно запоминать (think - thought, find - found, choose - chose, have - had, feel - felt);
• глагол to be в Past Simple имеет две формы - was (для 1-го лица единственного числа и для 3-го лица единственного числа) и were (для всех остальных).

     Last summer Victor decided to take up water polo. He thought the game was easy but he found it difficult. Victor chose to go to the swimming pool once a week.
